Tulsi, holy basil

Holy basil, or Ocimum tenuiflorum, more commonly known as tulsi, is a plant native to India but also found in Southeast Asia. For a long time, tulsi has been cultivated for religious and medical purposes. It is also cultivated for its essential oil which is often used in ayurveda. Tulsi is also used in ayurveda to cure many diseases.

Benefits Of Tulsi

Tulsi offers many benefits like oral care, relief from respiratory disorders, treatment of asthma, curing fever, reducing stress levels etc.

Dental And Oral Care

Tulsi is used to treat bleeding gums, hold the teeth better and also whiten teeth. Tulsi also kills all the bacteria in the mouth and protects the teeth from plaque. It clears bad breath and leaves the mouth with a aromatic smell. It is often used as a mouth freshener as it kills all the bacteria and germs.
