Parathas are delicious to eat and are enjoyed by everyone. However they lack protein content since they mostly contain flour, vegetables and potatoes. Here are delicious recipes of paratha high in protein!

Paneer Paratha


This paneer paratha is very delicious to eat, especially for those who love paneer.

Ingredients:

For the Roti:
1 Cup Wheat Flour
Water
Salt to taste
For the stuffing
2 cups Paneer
1-2 tsp Oil
2 Green chillies chopped (optional)
Salt to taste


For the batter:
Mix all ingredients together and knead well. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

For the stuffing:
Grate the paneer. In a pan, add in little oil, saute the paneer and add in sault to taste. You can also add green chillies to make it spicy.
Stuff the paneer like you generally stuff all your parathas. Cook on medium flame.

These are really quick to make especially when you have no time for preparation!

Cheese and Beans Parathas

For the Roti
1 Cup Wheat Flour
Water
Salt to taste
For the stuffing
½  Cup Overnight soaked kidney beans
¼ cup grated Cheese
Salt to taste
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Grated ginger
1 tsp Minced garlic
½ cup Chopped onion
½ Cup Chopped tomato

For the batter:


Prepare the dough and set it aside, In a pan saute all the ingredients for the stuffing on medium heat. Cut off the heat and add in the cheese. Use it as stuffing for the parathas.
