High Protein Coconut Balls

If you have a sweet tooth, try these chocolate balls covered in coconut flakes which are high in protein. These protein balls are great post workout snack, on the run snack, or just to kill your sugar cravings.

Follow this simple protein filled recipe to treat your sweet tooth:

Ingredients:

3 cups dates, pitted

4 scoops of Protein & Herb chocolate flavored powder

¼ cup chocolate chips

1+ ½ cup almonds

2 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened

½ cup warm water

2/3cup coconut flakes, unsweetened

 

Instructions:

Combine dates, almonds and water in a food processor and grind. Small chunks are fine Add to the mixing bowl along with protein powder and cocoa powder.  Mix with spatula until well combined.

Mixture will seem dry in the beginning. If necessary add more water.

Spread coconut flakes on a flat surface like a dinner plate and roll 32 balls in it. Cool and serve!
